About Us

Shari Kinninger started Scrubby Dutch Cleaning in 1983 cleaning houses by herself right here in St. Louis, Missouri.  She got a lot of satisfaction from turning something messy into something orderly and clean.  What started as a one woman operation has been growing strong for decades.  Now days, Scrubby Dutch uses a team cleaning approach.  Even with the growth over the years, the company is still family owned and operated and still has the personal touch customers have come to know. 
There are several factors that account for this growth and longevity.  Shari's attention to detail spills over in all employees.  There is such consistency that not only do we have customers that started using Scrubby Dutch when Shari cleaned houses by herself, but we also have employees that started when Shari began needing assistance to keep up with the demands of home cleaning.  Another contributor to our stamina is the fact that people just don't have the time these days to juggle work, family, social life AND clean the home.  Their days are booked up, which leaves little or no free time.  What our customers find out once they start with Scrubby Dutch is that it is quite affordable and their satisfaction is always guaranteed.  That consistency, affordability and familiarity is what keeps our current customers happy and speaking praises to their friends and neighbors.
